The Hateful 8
sponsored by Bowtech Inc.
Besides our main course, we offer a novelty course we lovingly call 'The Hateful 8'. Sort of like the movie. But more brutal.
Open on Friday afternoon as well as Saturday (after the first day's scoring round). Every time you pay to play a round, your name goes into a draw for a fantastic prize. It's a great way to practice for the following day, hang out with friends and of course perhaps go home with an amazing prize. Highest score also wins a prize.
Targets for Hateful 8 supplied by Kingsville Wild Goose Archery

The Average Joe
In 2019, for our first Southern Canadian Classic, we introduced our signature feature, The Average Joe.
Who is the Average Joe?
It's the person who isn't the best shooter out there, nor the worst. Sure, archery is fun especially if you're an "okay" shooter because you can only get better, but why not get rewarded in the meantime?
That's why we invented The Average Joe. Where, in each money class with a minimum of 10 shooters, the person who has the AVERAGE SCORE will win EQUAL TO THE SECOND PLACE FINISHER'S EARNINGS.
We want to draw out all levels and all categories of shooters - including those who may tend to shy away from tournaments because they know winning money isn't usually in the cards.
But with The Average Joe, it PAYS to be average.
*any ties will be broken using ASA rules
Important Notes
We use ASA scoring but we do have different aspects to our tournament compared to an ASA (speed limits, classes, payouts etc).
*****
As a competitor it is your responsibility to understand the rules and to ensure you are in the CORRECT class when you register and follow the rules of that class. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. Please acquaint yourself with the rules on our website before our tournament. If you have ANY questions, don’t hesitate to message or email us before the tournament. We are happy to help!
*****
Sorry but we cannot refund any 2025 registration, camping or dinner fees after Wednesday August 13th, 2025. If you have registered and cannot make it out, please let us know before then.
*****
Regarding prizes, we do that on the Saturday night right after that awesome broasted chicken dinner. You do not have to be present to win BUT if you do not shoot on Saturday for any reason, you will NOT be eligible for them. All prizes must be collected Sunday (no holds, sorry). Those registered in the cub class are not eligible for main prizes (but we will have a special draw for them!)
*****
For those of you who are very new to archery, we will try our best to pair you with a friend the first day. However we will ensure that all parents & children who requested to shoot together, do so. Please note: parents of very young children may not be peer grouped the second day.
VENUE ADDRESS
962 County Road 50 east in Harrow Ontario. Nearest intersection is #50 & #23 (Arner Town Line).
You will turn off County Road 50 onto a farmers laneway - to your left will be a red steel barn and to the right, a brick house. Go ALL the way back. The houses to your right are private property and are not involved in the tournament. It may be bumpy in areas so take it slow and secure anything in your camper just in case.
NOTE: It may come up as Heritage Road...just make sure Harrow is the town, and not Kingsville. It is opposite Erie Shores Campground for reference.
